Before I even planned a list I knew I had to have the Batpod (Batman's bike). At first I was gonna go Diggas as the points were cheaper so I could get more men for my teef. I started work on the bike but something didn't feel right.
After rummaging in my bits box I found a couple of plastic deffkopters I'd butchered for another project. I tried the wheels from the bike on the chassi of the kopta and it just worked, with the addition of a spare deffdredd head I know I had to switch to Orks.
As the body and chassis are a single part there wasn't much I could do with the torso and legs, the arm was just a spare from somewhere so I needed to do something more with the head. With a bit of green stuff and some small bits of plasticard I turned it into this:
which I had to paint straight away so it ended up looking like this:
Happy with the head I moved onto the bike, I wanted to keep it quite uncluttered so stuck to 2 massive guns on the front and a cloak
I then gave the bike a black undercoat to see how the finished thing would look, and pinned the head on.
Since then I've painted more of the model. It's not fully finished because I was working on a few parts of the gang at once, but I'll put up the finished pics when the whole gang's complete.
